01 Do you take equity stakes in the PM team's business?
Nope. Nada. Your business – your equity.
02 Can we bring our existing SMA accounts or funds?
Yes. No problem. While we will need to review AML/KYC docs, we aim to make this transition as simple as possible for investors.
03 Can we have our own brand?
Yes. The brand is yours.
04 Does my team need to be registered with the SEC, a state regulator or the NFA?
All AIGI PM teams are covered under our regulatory registrations and our policies, procedures and compliance oversight, eliminating the need to apply for and maintain registrations as RIAs, CTAs, or CPOs.
05 Does our track record and IP remain ours?
Absolutely.
06 Can you assist with marketing our strategy to investors?
Definitely. We only bring on PM Teams that produce compelling and persistent alpha and strategies that are attractive to our investor base.
07 Can we leave the platform down the road?
We'd be surprised if your team would want to, but yes. We'll facilitate the transition out and the assignment of investor/fund IMAs.
08 Can we hire staff?
Of course. We will need to do due diligence and background checks, but you would want to do that, anyway.
09 Can you launch my fund or create an SPV for me?
Yes. AI Global Investors' affiliate Ignite by Laureate leverages proprietary technology, established institutional service provider relationships and economies of scale to bring funds to market within 4-6 weeks or form SPVs within days.
10 What technology do you provide?
We provide an institutional-quality OMS/EMS/PMS/RMS with robust mid and back office functionality.
We also provide Microsoft Office 365, Sharepoint network drives, email and select chat functions (with regulatory-compliant archiving), etc., and 24 hour tech support.
11 Do you procure hardware and market data?
Yes.
12 Do we need to do compliance training?
Absolutely. It is vitally important that all PM team members understand the regulations that pertain to their investment activities and also the policies and procedures of AI Global Investors. We will provide web-based periodic training to keep you in the know.
13 What is the relationship with Alpha Innovations Ltd.?
Alpha Innovations Ltd. is the parent company of AI Global Investors (USA) LLC. AIGI serves as a subadvisor to AI Ltd.
